Let’s start off with everything you need to put on before you apply make-up. It is so important to prep and prime the skin as it effects the overall outcome of your make up look.
I Love Love Love the Hydra Veil its Part Hydrator Part Primer. This product is a must have in your make up kit. It hydrates your skin giving you a refreshing feel and it fully primes your skin to let you apply your foundation perfectly and flawlessly.
This product is great for those with dry skin and for those with oily or combination skin try the Illamasqua Matte Veil.
-Mac Pro Longwear Concealer-
This is my all-time favourite concealer. It provides medium coverage but the best thing is that it lasts up to 15 hours!
Whether you have a long day at work ahead or if your planning to stay up partying all night, this stuff makes you look perfect. Its also lightweight on your face so it doesn't feel caked on when you apply it.
It is exactly what it says on the bottle, LONGWEAR!
-Studio Fix Foundation-
This is my go to foundation, it might feel a little much for some people but for me it looks amazing in photos, and gives me great coverage.
Its medium coverage but you can build it up to full. It gives you a nice glow and I love that they have such a great selection of colours for all type of skin tones.
-HD Eyes and Brows Palette-
We all know about the new eyebrow craze, the whole 'eyebrows on fleek' façade. With this palette even a make-up beginner can achieve perfect brows.
HD eyes and brow palette comes with 4 shades and 1 brow wax which helps the product stay in place all day. For ever day brow perfection, this is definitely the product you need!
-Urban Decay Naked 2 Palette-
Urban decay have one of the best eye shadow ranges around. I personally love neutral matte colours so this is an amazing palette that has a range of 12 colours.
You can't go wrong with purchasing a NAKED palette. There is a range of nude, light browns, dark browns, grey and the perfect pigmented black shade. Suitable for all skin tones.
-Smash Box Contour Stick Trio-
Everyone loves a bit of definition to their face. Ever since the contour craze began I think I've tried all different types of contour kits. But the simplest and easiest one I have tried is this Trio Kit.
It comes with 3 pencils (Dark, Medium and Light) and a sharpener. Couldn't be any simpler than this. It also comes with a guide to help you!
The product is smooth and easy to apply, and sooooo easy to blend to give you the naturally defined contoured look.
-Charlotte Tilbury Film Star Bronze And Glow-
The little pot of gold in a pallet. I use this bronzer literally every day. Not only is the product amazingly pigmented it lasts a heck of a long time.
I use it daily and I've had this for over 6 months and there’s still a lot left. It does come with a hefty price tag of £49 but I can say I have not been disappointed.
The bronzer gives me a soft look and the highlighter adds a bit of glammer to an everyday look. When you’ve done an all-nighter and you look half asleep in the morning, this is the product which will make you look like you’ve had all your beauty sleepy.
-Mac Kinda Sexy Lipstick-
I think you can tell by now I’m a little obsessed with my nude colours. Out of every Lipstick Mac has ever come out with which I think there are hundreds, I have found the one.
Kinda Sexy is just my perfect shade, Its nude with a hint of a little peach and pink. If I’m going to work ill pop this right on, it literally gives me life. On a night out I add a darker lip liner underneath for a more glamorous look.
-Illamasqua Translucent Powder-
I personally don’t like to cake on to much coloured powder on my face as I think the Mac foundation covers just about everything. Adding coloured powder can change the tone of the skin colour which can either come out to dark or to light. For a perfect even tone, I use translucent powder. It gives that amazing matte look with a flawless finish.
If you feel your foundation is to dark or to light to begin with by all means add a coloured powder to naturalise the colour, but for me Mac Nc20 is my perfect shade.
Tip: Use Translucent powder after your primer just before your foundation, it makes your foundation matte and lasts all day.
-Urban Decay All Nighter Long-Lasting Makeup Setting Spray-
This little bit of magic does exactly what it says on the bottle! Spray this after you’ve completed all your make up application and I guarantee it’ll stay in place all night. I use it on all my clients.
It has some crazy technology going on, which actually lowers the temperature of your make up to hold it in place, so whether it’s boiling hot or freezing outside, it balances your temperature to hold it in place for pretty long time.
No point doing your face so flawless to go out and then to let it get ruined by the weather. Serious life saver. They even do a mini one which you can take anywhere with you.
